Pizza Brixton is an independent pizza restaurant brand with three popular venues across London, brought to you by three experienced restauranteurs, Cosimo, Zak and Anis. Together, the team have created an atmospheric dining experience with authentic Italian cuisine at the centre.
The first Pizza Brixton restaurant opened its doors in February 2017, inspired by Zak and Anis’s love for good Italian food and a craving for true Neapolitan pizza “verace”. Cosimo brought skill, passion and knowledge to the table, which can be seen in the menus, including handpicked ingredients and Italian wines and coffee imported from Cosimo’s home region Salento, Puglia.
The flagship venue was a quick success and another Pizza Brixton was born soon after. It was 2018 when the second restaurant opened its doors, situated between Clapham Junction and Wandsworth on St. John’s Hill.
And, it didn’t stop there. Another year later in August 2019, they opened their third and most adventurous restaurant yet (being their first shop north of the river) located on Roman Road, Bow.
Challenges
For years, the team at Pizza Brixton used an unreliable system that interrupted service due to system crashes. This would result in calls to the support team, with long wait times and unresolved issues. When their busy venues were left using pen and paper to write orders for the kitchen, they knew it was time to look at other options.
Reliability and dependable support services became paramount requirements from their new tech partner. In addition to this, the Pizza Brixton team sought a system that could consolidate their standalone platforms, enabling them to manage key functions and analyse business performance from one place.
