Guest Post Agreement

Before submitting the form at the end of this page, please read the following. This is a legal agreement outlining the guidelines, requirements, terms and conditions, rights, and other obligations when the writer submits a guest post article using the form below on www.kobas.co.uk or through any other available means.

By submitting this form, you acknowledge this is a legally bound contract between you (“Writer”, “you” or “Guest Blogger”) and Kobas Hospitality Ltd (“Site Owner”), even though no physical signature has been provided.

You, the Guest Blogger, shall have no authority as a website admin or showcase any such representation.

If you are submitting this form and entering this agreement on behalf of and/or representing a business, you are agreeing to have authority and/or permission to enter this agreement. If you do not have permission, you must not accept this agreement.

The Site Owner and the Guest Blogger agree to the following:

1. Content
1.1. Writing must be original work that has not been published on any online and/or offline channels previously including (but not limited to) other websites of any nature, forums, and social media. The Site Owner reserves the right to decline the use of the piece if duplicate pieces are found elsewhere (online and/or offline).
1.2. The content supplied must reach a minimum of 1,000 words, be written to a high-quality standard, be complete, and be well-researched.
1.3.The Guest Blogger must cite sources correctly when quoting others.
1.4. The Guest Blogger should not submit content that is critical and/or negatively mentions individuals and/or brands.
1.5. The Guest Blogger must not include any affiliate links in the article.
1.6. The Guest Blogger may include no more than two outbound links in the piece. The links included must be relevant to the topic and non-competitive with the Site Owner’s brand and products.
1.7.The Site Owner reserves the right to adjust the content including (but not limited to) adding links, removing affiliate links, removing outbound links if associated to Private Blog Networks and/or the domain has a low trust score, rephrasing writing, and adding call-to-actions.

2. Copyright
2.1. Plagiarism or copyright infringement is and will not be permitted for any copywriting, imagery, or other assets supplied by the Guest Blogger to the Site Owner. The Guest Blogger must be the legal owner or have the legal right to use the supplied assets and must have appropriate licensing where necessary, including proof of licensing. Proof must be submitted via the form or through any other means if the assets are not owned by the Guest Blogger, showing it does not infringe on copyright laws. If the materials supplied have been produced by the Guest Blogger, they must state so when submitting the form.
2.2.The Site Owner has the right to not use supplied assets (such as images, photography, videography, and other materials) if they are believed to be infringing on copyright laws. In this case, the Site Owner has the right to use the guest blog piece and replace the assets with suitable options should the Guest Blogger not be able to find replacements.

3. Ownership
3.1. The Guest Blogger agrees that upon submission, the ownership rights of the submitted article/s are transferred to the Site Owner. The Site Owner must always give authorship credit to the Guest Blogger where the piece is primarily hosted (www.kobas.co.uk).
3.2. The authorship credit will be added onto the submitted and published article including the name of the author, and a 30-word bio if supplied.
3.3. The Guest Blogger agrees not to send the same submitted article or variations of it, to other parties for publication on multiple websites, social media, and/or forums. Should the Site Owner find the submitted article (or variations of) on other platforms without notice from the Guest Blogger, the Site Owner reserves the right to immediately remove the article from the website and other places where it may be published. In this scenario, the Site Owner also reserves the right to rework and republish the article entirely without authorisation from the Guest Blogger.
3.4. The Guest Blogger has the right to promote the live article on other online platforms (such as social media) via a link to the article hosted on www.kobas.co.uk.
3.5. The Site Owner has the right to use the content for paid promotion.
3.6. The Site Owner has the right to promote the Guest Blogger’s post on online platforms (such as social media).

4. Costs
4.1. The Guest Blogger accepts there is and will never be any exchange of compensation for the Site Owner to use the post in any capacity, or any revenue generated from it.

5. Compensation
5.1. The Guest Blogger agrees to hold the Site Owner and its directors and employees harmless against liabilities, losses, damages, or costs, incurred in connection with or arising from any third-party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them because of or relating to the article, your use of the Services or any wilful misconduct on the Guest Blogger’s part.

6. How we manage your information
6.1. Upon submission of the form and its contents, the Guest Blogger understands and consents to the information submitted being stored in the Site Owner’s CRM system, HubSpot. Personal contact information will not be shared with any third party by Kobas Hospitality Ltd. For more information on how your data is stored and used in our CRM system, please read the HubSpot Privacy Policy.
6.2. To either; access a copy of the information we hold about you (The Guest Blogger), rectify the information we hold about you, change / update the infromation we hold about you, or to remove your information from our database, please email marketing@kobas.co.uk with your request.
6.3. The Site Owner will not use the Guest Blogger’s contact details to send irrelevant and unnecessary marketing emails but may reach out with relevant marketing opportunities such as the one outlined in this document. The Guest Blogger can opt out of communication at any time by managing their preferences and/or unsubscribing via a link in the footer of an email, or by emailing marketing@kobas.co.uk with the request. If using the latter method, please allow for up to 10 working days for the request to be processed and actioned.
