What does your day-to-day look like / what does your role involve?
My role focuses on preparing and implementing marketing strategies and budgets in line with the company’s goals. We’re an ambitious department, so my day-to-day can vary significantly but that’s the way I like it! A typical week can include catching up with the team on tasks and performance to ensure everything is on track, event management, SEO auditing and optimisation, working on website enhancements, copywriting, coordinating integrated partner campaigns, a bit of design here and there…
What did you do before working at Kobas?
Aside from being the world’s worst restaurant server for three years back at university (hats off to those in hospitality 👏🏽), I’ve always worked in marketing. I’ve done some freelancing, property marketing, and restaurant marketing, but my experiences have mostly been within the B2B hospitality tech space.
What’s your favourite thing about working here?
I love the industry we work so closely with and I believe in what Kobas offers. It sounds simple, but if you’ve ever marketed a product and / or service you have no interest in then you’ll know how important this is. There’s a focus on culture and well-being at Kobas too, which makes for a really positive working environment.
