What does your day-to-day look like / what does your role involve?
My role focuses on shaping and delivering commercial strategies that support the company’s wider goals. My day-to-day is incredibly varied – from working with the team on sales, to some hands-on marketing including event management, SEO, partner campaigns, designing, and everything in-between.
What did you do before working at Kobas?
I’ve spent the majority of my career in marketing, with experience across freelance work for start-ups as well as property and restaurant marketing. Most of my background has been within the B2B hospitality technology space though. Before that, I spent around 4 years working in hospitality itself (during the university years!) in restaurants and bars.
What’s your favourite thing about working here?
Working so closely with the hospitality industry itself. Not only do I love trying out good food at new spots, but generally speaking, most of us spend a lot of time creating new memories at food and beverage venues. Catching up with an old friend? Cafe. Want to celebrate something with your family? Restaurant. Meeting up with a long-lost relative? Pub. Very few industries can offer the same value and I think that demonstrates how crucial hospitality venues really are. I’m proud to support that and the hard-working teams behind it all by working at Kobas as a hospitality partner.

The one question we’ve all put a lot of thought into at some point. Tuscan Chicken Pasta. Berry Crumble & Custard for dessert. Something along those lines.
