We’ve just released an update to KOBAS focusing on staff, payroll, security and a handful of the usual bug fixes and performance optimisations. Here’s the nitty gritty:
Reinstating staff
Sometimes good staff leave your employment. It’s a shame, but it happens. If you’re lucky, your paths will cross again and they’ll return. Compared with the usual uncertainties and costly aspects of recruitment, this is a huge bonus. You get a known entity who is appropriately trained and knows how you like things done.
It now takes just a few clicks in Kobas to reinstate a member of staff. We’ll ask you to confirm that each of their previously logged training and skills are still valid, and click – they’re back!
Payroll report status and exports for Iris and Sage Payroll
Head office users can see a quick and easy overview of venue payroll updates. When they’re all in and you’ve signed them off, it’s just a couple of clicks to export information ready for use with Iris or Sage Payroll. Nice and easy payroll approval and implementation, courtesy of KOBAS. 🙂
Security and performance
We are now enforcing SSL encryption on all requests made to KOBAS. This means your sensitive data can’t be “sniffed” out as it crosses the Internet between you and us. We’ve also strengthened our password encryption and optimised our servers to further protect you and your team, and to enhance your Kobas experience.
