My kitchen printer has flashing lights!

If you use the Star SP700 impact printer for your kitchen printing needs, then you may occasionally see the following flashing lights, if your printer malfunctions. There’s no need to panic, the printer is simply just trying to let you know what is wrong with it.

There are two lights, a green and a red and depending on their behaviour, you should be able to identify what is causing the printer error. The table below will run through each scenario and how to resolve the error.
